What do YOU need for Organized Space?

I've gotten a lot a good ideas from all the posts, but while I'm reading about what people have done, the question that pops into my mind is:

What do we need? Is it more space; a good organizing system; the furniture to implement a good organizing/storage system, or some do-it-yourself plans for storage, workspaces, and filing; or your own chair and light so you can sit comfortably?

What are your answers?

What do you need?

Just to show you that I, too, have needs, I'm putting my money where my mouth is, and posting two pictures of one corner of my knitting room.

Yes! Yes! Yes to all of the above! I would love more space and an aesthetically pleasing way to organize my things.

A cozy corner to call my own would also be lovely.

I just wanted to let others know that I found some wonderful storage options at the Christmas Tree Shops (I know they are in the northeast U.S., but I'm not sure if they have stores elsewhere in the U.S.)

They had many wonderful baskets, storage trunks, and covered boxes, as well as bookshelves and wooden chests with baskets for drawers. The prices are very reasonable as well!

I love your idea of using the Tidy Cats containers. I have a couple of those here that I just couldn't bear to throw away because I figured I'd figure out a way to use them...now I have!! Thanx...
